You awaken To find yourself Within the twilight Of a dreamscape
The world, This dreamworld Of my weaving Is bathed in the soft hue Of a blue ocean's breath
The crashing of waves Licks at your ears As your eyes roam The baren seascape
Until a figure, My figure, Arrests the movement From your eyes - Capturing you
Awakening desires That until this moment Had been lost to a world Filled with noise
You approach As I stand Hair wild in the Salted wind And the rest, The rest is Yours to design.
A note about these photos: I do my best to not edit my photos in a way that makes me look airbrushed or unrealistic. I edit the light in my photos for particular artistic effects. I just want to point out that for this poem, I did smooth out the clarity of the photos to make it look more dreamlike. My skin isn’t naturally that soft 😀 Just so you know.
